If I could give this restaurant 10 stars I would!! We were in the area for a weekend getaway- all the way from Boston, and this place was EXCELLENT! I’ve been to quite a few Mexican restaurants but this place was by far the best. From the minute we walked in the staff was quick and friendly. Drinks were made perfectly and food was delicious! Guacamole was prepared right in front of you with fresh avocados and ingredients!!!! They also served us dessert on the house and a shot of tequila. Very hospitable staff and very very clean. All tables were clean super quick, floors were clean, clean utensils. Too bad I live so far away otherwise I’d be ordering more often! But, I will be spreading the news that this is a go to place when in NY.

Nice on the inside. Can't say as much for the food. The tortilla were not home made, you could tell they were packaged. The dishes, unfortunately were greasy.

I love this restaurant most of the time, but occasionally when we've gone the quality of the food is not the same. Maybe it is different staff or availability of ingredients I don't know.

All wood interior with a gas fireplace is a great compliment to the at your table custom made guacamole. Everything about the meal was enjoyable from the taste to the service which included a free dessert at the end. Did not order any drinks but the table behind received a free shot of tequila.

Fantastic restaurant!!!! So friendly and gracious service. They offered chips, salsa, tortillas, Dessert, and even tequila on the house!!!!!The food was delicious and large portions too.

Here! That's the answer on where you need to spend the rest of the afternoon or an evening. You should expect warm meeting, delicious smell from the kitchen and nice music on the background. Thank you guys for such a great place!

Food and portions were great. Prices were reasonable ... They brought us out 2 flights if pineapple tequila for free. The waitress was super attentive. We had a great time.

We stopped by on a Friday night for dinner and a Margarita. The food and drinks were delicious. The service was excellent. And the prices were good. We even got a complimentary desert and shot of pineapple Tequila. We definitely enjoyed our dinner here.

Today I came in after an incredibly hike at the state park near the restaurant. The restaurant was amazing.

Went during covid restrictions (outside only) Food was very good, house made guac was delicious. All dinners were spot on. Also they gave out a complimentary shot of tequila & a dessert. Which was awesome, a cinnamon fried twist with maple syrup & wip cream...I loved it, ate 2 of them 😋 Would definitely return 👍👍

Location is awesome.... Service is okey. I just had one thing... all though food taste good but has so much of cheeze...people on diet wouldn't really go for it ... Instead of this much cheese they can provide few more veggies. Cz veggie has only little lettuce and lot of bean thats it... So its not a bad review just a good suggestion that they can add few and go easy on cheese .... Everything else is good...👍🏻

I frequent this special place often since I like the special atmosphere that is characterizes this place. The team is highly cordial and professional. The service is deeply fast. Needless to say, the food they prepare is perfect. I have been there often and I was always satisfied. The rate is fair. I highly suggest this restaurant to to everybody.

Maybe on a different day but my food was garbage..flavor weird, rice dry w no flavor....went to reviews and see I'm not the only one..shoulda just went to Tony and Nick's..the prices here aren't bad considering the size of the plate, but in my opinion this place was terribly slow and again, weird flavor I'm not used too..Won't be coming back..

The staff was very tentative and nice. Our food came out in a timely fashion. The establishment is impeccable. I could have eaten off the floor. The food was amazing. It is authentic Mexican food. The restaurant is really beautiful inside. I believe that this restaurant is Gabby's rival ( local Mexican restaurant in ellenville).

Had a big family of 20 went there for my cousin wedding dinner and vday 1 hour to get drinks At the 2 hour mark 4 of the 20 plates came out With out of the 4 3 had to get since back because it was raw One of the 3 plate was raw chicken wings We finally just left They made us pay for plate that went back to the kitchen and the raw chicken We never got to eatHad to go to another to feed all of us Thanks for ruining a very special day for my family will never go backWILL BE CONTACTING THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT

The place serves big dishes and for convenient pricing. nice staff. Never disappointing.

Wonderful place, perfect to go after a hike. The staff were very welcoming and took precautions to keep you safe during the virus outbreak. They were forthcoming and even gave us complimentary desserts and other such delicacies. The food was quite delicious and ran the gamut of different items, many of which could be made vegetarian and vegan. Well worth the visit here.

First and last I'll let the pictures do the talking which is more like a pool of sauce and dont even know which is a burrito and which is an enchilada and a soggy crispy taco all together never again and almost forgot the tomato juice salsa use real tomatoes and you'll get a better salsa

We love this place! One of Kerhonkson’s best restaurants. The decor is festive, the food is delicious (guac made right in front of you), and the service is fantastic. Salsa is 👌👌👌. We’ll keep coming back!

The service was fantastic and friendly. Our big group came in tired and hungry after a long hike, and ate like kings and queens. It was a perfect way of ending the day! Very satisfied!

Staff is warm and friendly. Very clean with gorgeous murals on all walls. Banana dessert is the best!!

Nice menu and tasty food. Loved the service, they are very friendly and service was quick. We were treated to a nice dessert at the end. The dish we order for two people had a good amount of meat, beef, pork, chicken and shrimp. It was delicious.

This is my go-to restaurant when I am in Ulster area. Really good Mexican food!!! I've a burrito and enchiladas de mole. Super saucy and fresh! They also provide chips and salsa at no cost.

This place is amazing. Service is great and they make you feel like family. There hospitality is more then I've seen in most restaurants. Food is great,prices are affordable and drink prices are more then fair. Definately stop in and see for yourselves.

This place is really good. Authentic menu, great service, great prices. Their margs are tasty and big, their Guac is made tableside and tastes amazing. Fajitas were great, as well as their camarones dishes. When we asked for the check they returned with 2 complimentary tequila shots and 2 banana cinnamon crepes for me and my wife. We will def be coming back.

Really really really good and authentic Mexican. Enchiladas were delicious with tasty poblano sauce. Fresh made to order guacamole and house made chips. Incredibly friendly service. He even gave us free dessert! Loved it.

What a great, safe, and pleasurable dining experience. My husband and I were visiting the area having a hankering for some delicious Mexican food, we came across Don Juan Mexican restaurant and was absolutely blown away by the service and quality of the food! If you are looking for delicious Mexican cuisine and top-notch service, the servers did above and beyond. Come visit this place!

Lovely place. Good food, great drinks. The guacamole made at the table is to die for! Outdoor porch seating was fantastic. Our server was efficient and kind. We'd certainly visit again!

Great place! This was our first time inside a restaurant since February because of COVID-19...can't say enough about how great it was. Excellent food, even more excellent service. Get yourself there as soon as possible!

Service is excellent!!! Love the complementary chips, salsa, and little appetizer. Food was good, came out in a very timely manner and was reasonably priced. Of course my little one loved the surprise complementary dessert at the end of the meal. We were very pleased with our experience and meal.
